Dear Friends,
"... at defining moments like this one, the change we need doesn't come from Washington. Change comes to Washington. Change happens because the American people demand it -because they rise up and insist on new ideas and new leadership, a new politics for a new time." Obama-August 28, 2008
It's time to "rise up and insist"

If you live in any of these communities you are encouraged to attend and advocate for single-payer universal health care. If you know single-payer advocates who live in one of these communities, call them and ask them to speak up on behalf of single-payer. Senator Baucus says, "I want Montana's voice to be heard loud and clear in the national debate on health care reform, to make sure that any proposal is right for our state."
Let's use this opportunity to tell Max that we want a single-payer health care option to be considered and placed on the table for discussion and debate!
Action 2. Montanans for Single-Payer is coordinating a statewide "Rally for Single-Payer" to be held on Friday, June 5, at noon at the offices of Senator Baucus. These rallies are part of national events held by Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP) and Healthcare-NOW! Rallies are planned to give Montanans an opportunity to show their support of single-payer universal health care and to continue to request that Senator Baucus include single-payer representatives in the national debate on health care reform.
