New Youth Coordinator Facilitates Transition

The Montana Human Rights Network welcomes Sonya Germann, the new Montana Youth Action Network coordinator. She comes to us from Missoula, Montana, where she has been an active participant in local human rights and environmental issues.

MYAN is in a very exciting stage of transition. Its main focus right now is how to best serve youth in given communities while maintaining a sustainable structure. MYAN plans to network youth activists in community and statewide forums while providing training in grassroots organizing and human rights issues. Focus communities right now are Helena, Missoula, Bozeman, Polson, and Hamilton. Want to know more or get involved? Just call the Montana Human Rights Network at (406)442-5506 and ask for Sonya.
